Something is wrong somewhere
Something is surely badly wrong
But what’s it, where’s it, on
board
The captain’s been thinking long.
Is it the wheel or is it the mast?
Is it the engine or is it in the sail?
Is it the currents or the winds?
Is it in the deck or is it in the tail?
The ship doesn’t seem to move well
The compass doesn’t point right
Is it in the sky or under the water?
It is bothering him day and night!
What didn’t appear to the skipper
Was that a traveler was the
culprit
Who in disobedience was running
Away from God, hiding deep in a
pit!
He was discovered by lot by
sailors
And was revealed to be the reason
Of the misfortune the ship was to
face
In a storm out of regular season!
In anger they lifted him, sailors
all
Him down to the waves they threw
And soon the angry waters calmed
And the sea was tranquil and blue!
