The school I love
The school I hate
I love it because
It’s a place to learn
I hate it because
It wouldn’t wait!
I love it because
I’ll meet a friend
One to play with
One to speak to
To be together is
Fun without end!
I hate it because
Teachers teach fast
I can’t understand
I can’t write along
“C/W is incomplete”
Tho’ I submit last!
Isn’t there a school
Good for my kind?
That won’t push me
Me that won’t shove
That will match steps
With my slow mind?
