A message I was not to bury!
The august parliament
Sat on the cemented platform
For prayers before burials meant
Just beside the lined graves
With mounts of mud waves
Some loud, some louder words thrown
While dwellers ‘neath were silent!
The Pastor President sired
The gathering of denominations
In zeal he was much fired
Of the Vice-President’s absence
And of diverse believers’ offense
Of the cemetery funds collection
Of minutes point by point he inquired!
With such noisy consultation
The souls fluttered in fear
Though good members in conversation
Were planning their good
“Do we need? Why you should?
You can’t do anything for us,”
They say,” Stop such pollution!”
