Species have been
here
To live and their kind to bear
Before history began
Much before an ape
Doffed his drape
And transformed into a man
The species knew the extent
Of the run of their race
And limits of their reign
For crossing the barrier
Proved not any merrier
Brought them only pain!
But man of precious birth
Of the species on earth
Created human classes
Multiplied his kind at rate
That can be termed a spate
Filled the planet with masses!
Ruling class and ruled class
Royal class and common class
High class and the class low
Moneyed class and the moneyless
Powerful class and powerless
Bowed class and the class to bow!
Students in tidiest of attire
In cars eyes can only admire
Drop some children at school
Children elsewhere in blue-white
Clothed by government’s mite
In uncared classrooms pool
New classes are being born
Shameless with blowing horn
Think anew, plant new seed
Classless society is empty dream
Tattered from seam to seam
A just society is man’s need
