Laugh aloud, O Dark Angel of fiery realm
Smile to your singed soul’s content
Revel and dance with your haughty hordes
For it’s your long desired fulfillment
You’ve done away with
your nagging fear
The promised Prince of Peace isn’t seen near
Human souls are
clasped in your firm fists
All tethered to your chosen predicament
The ascetic in the desert vanquished you
Countering word for word silenced you thrice
Snapped the chain binding God’s children
With his holy blood willingly paid the price
Broke your scepter and plucked your sting
Defeated death and proved he was the King
You presumed you were victorious; in truth,
He was the Redeemer washing all sin and vice
Laugh again loudly in your false victory
For apparently you’ve trampled Godhood
Your adversary, since the birth of creation
In your short sight, at the banished good
Revel in malice at the servant’s humiliation
How on the third day it transforms into jubilation
You never learn in blinded pride, lacking remorse
Destiny it is, victorious rise the godly should!
