Unlearn the Untruth

We see endless violence in the world. People belonging to one creed, culture or color harbor prejudices and hatred against the people of other creeds, cultures and colors. This attitude of hatred and prejudices has deepened generation after generation. Can we go back to the time where we did not have this hatred and these prejudices?

Slave to doom, death and firing

Let’s unlearn the old attitudes,
that don’t cease to give us pain.
If we’ve learnt to harm ourselves
tell me, what can be our gain?

We’ve learnt untruth unashamed,
learnt to cheat, lie and deceive,
which sadly boomerang on us,
sooner than later to make us grieve.

Let’s unlearn the hatred that
to kill our brothers does inspire,
for creed, colour, culture and clan.
Let’s go to the origin we require.

Not a day passes without bloodshed,
not a night without conspiring;
vendors of untruth, we’ve become,
slaves to doom, death and firing!

Let’s unlearn, let’s return to roots

let’s turn man’s clock behind.
We may save us from destruction
from untruth if we free our mind.
