A short cut
is very alluring
Like a sexy slut
But quite often
One finds to his sorrow
She leads you into
a rut!
People take a short cut
To reach the destination
more quickly than before
the idea seems good
to save precious time
but at the end they spend more!
People take short cuts
To get rich pronto and fast
Applying any means and ways
The law catches up with them
To put them behind bars
For the rest of their days!
Short cuts right, short cuts
wrong
In knowledge and wisdom
Are before you to choose
Shun not a long way
that’s sure to take you there
Step not into roads that make you
lose!
