Reflections

The reflection so magical

And so enchanting

In the lake

There’s another city

Under the surface

Wise engineers did make

Don’t extend your hand

To possess it

It’ll turn fake!

There are reflections

In the world

Everywhere

Children reflect their parents

Mother or father

Exceptions are rare

With their progeny

Themselves in genes

The producers share!

The creation reflects

The Creator most intelligent

In heaven above

He is the beauty

He is the wisdom

He is all love

All that exists, is fashioned by Him

On the earth and the universe

He hovers on all, the invisible dove!

I live my days

With souls abandoned

On loneliness street

Hands extended

Hearts withering

Wandering feet

My reflections they can’t ever be

But they bear image

Of the One every day I meet!

Kingdom of God is Here

It’s a new morning.

Sweet birds are singing

Hope fills atmosphere

Yes, Kingdom of God is here!

Caring hearts, smiles greeting

Helping hands, thoughts meeting

On the earth create cheer

Yes, Kingdom of God is here!

Friendship, mercy and love

Soothing gifts rain from above

Bringing the heaven near

Yes, Kingdom of God is here!

In parliaments, in fellowship

Prayer and hymns, in worship

People gather to Father dear

Kingdom of God is here!

Our Actions Follow Us

They follow us
The fruits of our own action
The shadows of our creation
Our own spiritual children!

They hang on to us
The good or bad intentions
The just or unjust decisions
The fair or unfair machinations!

We just enjoy
Our wealth and fortune found
The happy gifts and health sound
Grateful or ungrateful around!

We fail to understand
Why our best of plans fail
When unknown storms rail__
our ships, when must smoothly sail!

The wisdom of ages is true
In giving sorrow we bring sorrow__
To us, we create our tomorrow
It’s from ourselves we borrow!

In giving we receive
We love ourselves in others
We pain ourselves in others
We steal from ours in others!

Our Karma is our own
Like our skin they cling
Fate lovable or terrible bring
It’s they who mourn or sing!

Those Two-legged Creatures in Concrete Houses

Those two-legged animals in the concrete houses
Are so selfish!
They wouldn’t allow me
To set my feet on the steps
Outside their door.
Forget about letting me
Into the kitchen and
permit me to touch their dish!

Those animals within the brick walls
Are so possessive!
The whole earth, they think is
Their paternal property!
Land, water and air of the earth
They want to control
They aren’t ready even an inch
Other creatures to give!

Redeemed with Pain

Can someone tell the why and where of pain?
It is seen in many forms and shapes
Tell me, in our life it is loss or gain?

Sometimes it dwells in the thinking head
Sometimes it moves with the legs
It’s inside me, the stomach said!

It’s in the flesh and it’s in the mind
Sometimes it’s in the heart and the chest
This in arteries and veins you may find!

Can someone tell me where it boards?
In separation, it fills the eyes with tears
And sometimes it’s worst caused by words!

Wherever it may be from, whatever it may be
It certainly is given to us to use it for benefits
The Savior redeemed us in cross and Calvary!
