Demagogues

“Let’s do it; yes, let’s do it fast!

It’s the most opportune time

This is the most desired aim

We were diligently working to

This is the favorable weather

For which our hearts were eager

Come, let’s step, our idea to last!”

The ruling scepter is in our hand

We proudly own most of the land

The wisdom in council fears us

Dogs wag tails to us and cats mew

If we don’t act now, rocks we chew

The strength to form history is ours!”

In our favor we will make them flow

Our utterances will be the new law

Owe to anyone who defies them!

On their ways we will plant spike

We’ll break to dust what we dislike

All that we hate, we will burn!”
