A sentence has a beginning
And a sentence has an end
This is law of grammar, firm
No power ever can bend!
There is a first word proud
With a capital letter to lead
And when the thought has run
There is a full stop
to deed!
The language teacher says this
And aren’t his words true?
The fog has covered the sky
A clear sky will sure look blue!
A cowman of little schooling
Spoke the same truth today
In words suitable to his stand
The wisdom of life to display
All good things must, they say,
Come to conclusion ultimate
So do bad and things ungodly
One day must meet their fate!
