No Alien on the Planet of Mine

Aeroplanes fly over my head

Every day and every night

From the airport down there

Many sloping down to land

Many roaring up to flight

Carrying loads of travelers

With different figures and faces

With fat purses and fancy luggage

To and from faraway places

I know in my deepest mind

Among them me I won’t find!

There are other realms to roam

There are other lands to explore

There are earths and space unknown

I fly in the unseen  ‘planes of souls

Into the hidden galaxies of man’s core

At my words many worldly wise

Will  perhaps scoff with pity and smile

You a traveler from other concepts

Won’t understand words without guile

No alien lives in the planet of mine
Dwellers here speak tongue divine!

Move On

If a stone comes in the way
And your feet stumble
In their merry progress
Why stand and grumble
Why waste time?
Move on!

Even if you fall on the earth
Your face smeared with dust
Laugh at the funny form
Should you tarry at the spot?
Cursing  ill-luck?
Move on!

Life will play jokes on you
Some to amuse, some to give pain
Laugh and cry if you will
And take the road again!
Hold the hands of Life and ..
Move on!

Coca-Cola: the Macho Drink

Aha, the Coca Cola bottles

Stacked in hivelike crates,

How they attract my glance

Like my fizzy girl mates!

Hand me one of those, buddy

And don’t uncap it, please;

My teeth love to open them

With a biting tag and tease!

Gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp

Down flows the macho drink,

Oup aah.., oup aah...so  expire

The gases from the belly’s sink!

Orphaned All Over Again

I’m sorry, dear child mine

It’s here, the darkest time
You’ll be a beloved son no more
You’ll be orphaned again

A daughter you’ll be no more!

Inimical winds are blowing

Writs on the wall are showing

Self-love has shut the door

Compelling you to sit outside

Sobbing uncared on the floor!

‘Evolution’ it will be named

When ideals will be shamed

Hypocrisy will rule the core

She will be the queen Jezebel

Unjust, cruel, immoral to the core!

You to Heaven I’ll surrender

When hungry dogs tear asunder

The motherly lap you which bore

He will be your shelter secure

You, It’s His whisper that bore!

Embracing the Darkness

When I gave up my senseless struggle
That was the moment you came!

I thought nothing could happen
Without my relentless effort
Without my painful rowing
My boat would never find port
I was just an instrument
You were the accomplisher
I forgot. What a shame!

I was trying to light my lamps
In the face of the stormy rage
I could not keep one burning
I was robbed of my labor’s wage
I sat alone embracing the dark
That was the moment you shone
Near me, tenderly calling my name!
