The railway station of Begunkodar
Is shut, many know, for years
It is haunted by a female ghost
Whose apparition has instilled shivers
She is seen near the station
Sometimes walking on the tracks
The white clad lady glides around
In the station that in staff lacks
A station master and a gateman
Met their death in manner strange
Since then the place has acquired
A name awesome beyond range
For fear of life no station master
Agrees to be here on prime post
Railway men make extreme excuses
To avoid playing host to the ghost
With Ayodhya hill behind, the station
Presents an amply eerie scene
No travelers you’d see
on platforms
If through this station you’ve been
Creepers and shrubs freely grow
In the rooms animals roam at night
Trains still pass to west and fro
The drivers wary of the lady in white
