Lord, send a heavenly wind
To blow all over the earth
That might turn human hearts
And to minds give new birth!
Bid that heavenly breeze blow
Damaging emotions to sweep
Anger, hatred, jealousy, away
Make your love reign in us deep!
May we truly know you, Father
And bow to you in spirit hence
May we look at a neighbor’s face
And perceive your holy presence!
