The good driver of the WB state bus

He must talk while driving, he mus’!

He talked with the bus conductor

Otherwise with the boy door keeper

He must talk while driving he mus’.

Since the handy cellphones came

He has acquired an added fame

He could talk with the world wide

A friend or foe or family outside

He must talk while driving, he mus’.

The good  driver of the WB state bus!

He had enough to talk that morning

As he drove out, he began to ring

With fifty- two passengers aboard

The Leyland powered carrier roared

Soon joined the state highway rush

With the good driver, talk who mus’ !

Many of the life- loving men objected

To the foolish habit but were rejected

To Malda the chattering bus vroomed

With good speed the state road zoomed

On a bridge not far the bus met the cuss

While the driver phoned, for he mus’!

The cursed bus crashed the side railing

Like ‘plane it flew out, the pilot failing

Fell into the river with  a loud splash

In bubbly water ended the mad dash

There was no time to fret and fuss

For the lives in the unfortunate bus!

By all means talk, O Driver, if you must

But why should you fall prey of the lust

For to you is entrusted the lives’ care

Seated in the vehicle with proper fare

 Hearts in a moment pushed to hush

‘Cause you have to talk on, you mus’!
