The eastern horizon smiling in rays
A day to join in hymns of God’s
praise
Take your whole being, take your
life
Your joys and sorrows in your
palms
Carry your offerings joining in
psalms
Receive His blessings, receive His
peace
Your doubts and questions in Him
can rest
He is the truth and He knows
the best
It’s a day, a gift of love
from the Father
It’s a day He has in His mercy
made
To be with Him and hear what
He said
