The Crafty Hood

How the Enemy rules human souls
Leading them so to illegitimate goals!

Sin poses proudly as holiness divine
Darkness like light schemes to shine
To the hungry little plates he doles!

His whims he lifts on pedestal high
While sincere hearts he makes sigh
Diverts gladly allotting rightful roles!

Isn’t he a willing vassal of injustice?
How could an angel his ideals miss?
A jar to hold water has gaping holes!

Inquire me not what I write or speak
To empower some he wills others weak
In craftiness plants dear shaky poles!

Trust in Me and Have Peace

Child, why do you struggle so?

To swim against the current

Just accept the gifts aplenty

In your life to enjoy I’ve sent!

Learn to float on the water

Fear not the circling waves

I am in control of still lakes

Am the Lord of sea that raves!

The emperors that ever ruled

Proudly the people of the earth

Where their imposing thrones?

Dead, never to return to birth!

I am the author of all existent

Fates of scepters potent decide

From my all-seeing justice pure

No crafty minds can ever hide!

Child, beloved mine, in my palms

With all loving care you I hold

Just trust in me and have peace

Close to my heart you I fold!

I will lead you where I wish to

My hidden plans make you fulfill

Great glory approaches you, son

Surrender me your heart’s will!

Why are You Smilimg, O Moon?

Why are you smiling, O Moon?

Are you merry at my misfortune?

I’m your subject, do you know?

Your kindness you never show

You are Narcissus of the sky lake

Drinking own blemished beauty

Watch you rapt from poet’s doon!

Proud with self-praise, O pretty

Need you be uncaringly haughty?

You are ruler of earth’s multitude

Gazing, gaping, crying, crowding

Tiny insects begging for a boon!

Science has told me your feature

You’re dry rocks waterless nature

Unkind, rough, abrasive, selfishly

Hovering around mother earth

Day in day out, night or noon!

Now at the end of my lonely life

Embittered with sorrowful strife

Hoping against hope for a better-

Day to sing and laugh like a child

Let it be, let it be, let it be soon!

The Serf and the Noble

When I deserve twenty
He grudgingly hands me five
The rest his greedy pouch hides
My needs cry for wages everyday
Even that meager he wouldn’t pay
When he’ll deign to throw it to me
Only his unjust mind decides!

A serf I am for a celebrated lord
His name travels beyond borders
Awarded for fluent generosity
In the dark realm of his heart
The prince of hell keeps a mart
Where he sells gifts soiled in sin
Wrapped with colors of charity!

Oh, to work for such a noble!
For an unworthy servant me
Is an honor undeserved!
He mayn’t give me my due
But his words hold holy hue
The lofty mind in crafty care
Pious ideals artfully swerved!!

Powerless I’m not, though poor
My hands I offered to rope
My tongue I’ve laid to bondage
Shatter the chains I can if I wished
Burn the infernal injustices dished
But I’m afraid the flying iron loops
May hurt the buds around with rage!!

Snake in the School

The Snake in the school
Has taken a teacher’s form
Slithers in and wriggles out
Through benches and desks
Feigns to be in discipline
While spurning every norm

In the learned staff room
He spends leisure in gossiping
Assassinating character of colleagues
Of good nature and name
From a high ground undeserved
The stench in malice sipping

Who will stand up to her?
King’s own  unbegotten  darling?
Capable of turning fair into foul
Good into evil, Eden into Hell
With her forked scheming tongue
Yet, in protection remain to sing!

God, you place thorns in our sides
Lucifer’s horde you didn’t eliminate
Permitted him to test your children
Day in and day out remorselessly
In the premises of holy angels
And your joyous  garden to vitiate!
