The tender body lying lifeless
In the soulless piece of earth
Screaming to Indian citizenry
Is it ‘cause my faith or birth?
Her wounds and drops of blood
How could they fall on the mud?
She was worthy of angelic mirth!
Oh! A child of eight
was abducted
Raped, dragged, drugged, battered!
To such low how humans
could fall!
All sensibility is
crying shattered!
To those related with the thrones
Who carry cruelty to their bones
Only their lusty desires mattered!
A shame beyond all
imagination
To shield the
criminals, on street
They ride out lifting the nation’s flag
Brazen chests, our
sad eyes meet
Scream, in the voice loudest of all
O innocent blood, let heavens fall,
Let it crush bigotry in ivory seat!
Is it national pride to violate a child?
Is it patriotism the lowly to degrade?
Did any of heavenly gods desire it?
Has this any of holy sages ever bade?
No, it was cancer that within flowed
Dormant in blood at moments showed
Has burst under hateful mind’s shade!
