A Morning Hymn of Praise

To the loving Father in heaven
All glory, honor and praise
To Him in filial prayer trusting
My heart and soul I raise

To the Son so obedient
Who for me a man became
Died in sufferings for me
Glory to his saving name!

To the Holy Spirit bountiful
All grace on us does shower
Intercedes for me unceasing
Source of wisdom and power.

He Writes Verse with Colours

Black and shrill
No one likes
Their presence
Pricks like spikes

Cawing crows
In morning light
Scrape and bruise
Mind’s delight

Desired in arms
Fair skinned maid
Of black and brown
Better less said

Yet a black night
Brings bright stars
While daylight
Them quickly bars

Black has a place
In God’s universe
With colors varied
The Poet writes verse.

Dawn

Dawn

Cool air

Sky light

Grey white.

Dew

Pearly grass

Possess it

In spirit.

Birds

Still trees

Hymns sing

Joys ring.

Worship

Praise Him

Join creation

In adoration.

The Water in a Saucer

A poem is a little water
An invisible angel pours
In my shallow saucer.

To the brim he can’t fill
For if I walk some steps
The poem I might spill.

If in distraction around
Doing this or that of day
The water falls aground.

The formless liquid sublime
I must quickly give shape
In a sentence or a rhyme!

Where are My Teachers? - A Tribute on the Teachers' Day

Where are my teachers?

I don't find them

when my visit

my school of yore.

Where are my professors

of the college I went?

They are not teaching

there anymore.

Someone tell me

where they are.

I find them living within me

and moving me to the fore!
